Eddy Current Separator Introduction:

The eddy current separator is mainly used for the recovery of non-ferrous metals from industrial and domestic wastes. The size range of the separator is ≥2mm2

Applications: crap copper (aluminium) cable & wire, aluminium products, automobile scrap, non-ferrous metal fragments, circuit board crushed materials, non-ferrous metal glass slag, electronic waste, multi-metal (copper, aluminium, zinc) mixture, garbage burned metals slag, plastic and metal mixtures, etc.

Eddy Current Separator Working Principle:

When the eddy current separator is working, the magnetic pole inside the core roll of the eddy current rotates at a high speed, so the magnetic field changes at a high frequency. The high frequency change of the magnetic field promotes the generation of very strong eddy current in the non-ferrous metal debris. This eddy current magnetic field is opposite to the internal magnetic field of the eddy current separation magnetic roller. Because of the magnetic field repulsion force, the non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminium, zinc, etc), leap forward along their transportation direction, realize the separation with other non-metallic materials, and achieve the purpose of separation. The main distinguishing judgment basis is the ratio value of conductivity and density of the material. The material with high ratio value is easier to separate than the material with low ratio.

Eddy Current Separator  Advantages:

The bearing adopts sealing protection, which can adapt to all kinds of harsh environment with large dust.

The spindle bearing is equipped with temperature control display and cooled with coolant to avoid overheating and long service life of the bearing.

The principal axis has thermal protection function, which can trip automatically when the temperature is too high and will not damage the bearing.

Using high strength permanent magnet Nd-Fe-B as magnetic source, the magnetic properties are stable and lasting, the unique arrangement of magnetic system can effectively separate 2mm2fine materials.

The magnetic roller of the eddy current separator is eccentric, and the center position of the magnetic pole is adjustable.

Frequency conversion control, adjustable belt speed, wide range of adjustable baffle clearance, suitable for different volume materials.

The separation size range is large, and non-magnetic metals above 2mm2 can be effectively sorted, and the separation efficiency is as high as 90% or more.
